IUP’s Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program for International Teachers (FDAI)
IUP has a fantastic program which brings international scholars to the university to conduct a research project each fall semester. I serve as a Faculty Mentor for an FDAI Scholar each year. This has given me the privilege of working with scholars from around the world. As a Faculty Mentor, I meet regular with the FDAI Scholar to talk about their teaching and research work. I help the scholar develop their project idea and review multiple drafts of their research report.
The FDAI Program is run by IUP’s Office of International Education (OIE). The Program is funded by the U.S. Department of State and is administered by International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX).
